Our Story
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
The Great Commission is the compelling command behind our desire to make disciples. We are a family of six from Texas who love Jesus and for reasons known only to him are called to this amazing ministry.
We have been appointed by our agency Crossworld to serve as disciple-makers to foster the growth of the church in South Africa. Partnering with the International College of Bible and Missions as IT manager (as well as other roles) Mark will help prepare pastors and lay-leaders for the work God has for them through all of southern Africa. There are plenty of opportunities to disciple new believers as well as reach out to the un-churched in southern Africa.
You can play a huge role in this ministry as you support us in prayer. Please pray for us often and seek God regarding becoming a monthly partner in our ministry.
In January of 2020 we moved to Johannesburg, South Africa to work with the International College of Bible and Missions (ICBM). Mark wears many hats but is primarily responsible for facilities and IT administration at the school. ICBM trains pastors and lay-leaders to make disciples throughout southern Africa.

Mark worked for LifeWay Christian Stores for 17 years when God called us to missions. He has a passion for discipling others and wants to see the Gospel magnified. He also loves any kind of tinkering with computer hardware and technology.
Carrie homeschools two of our four children Brendan and Nora. Clara and Adele have graduated. Carrie enjoys reading, teaching and mentoring young women.
Clara is a natural artist and loves animals of all types, especially horses. She has moved back to the States to pursue her dream of working in animation.
Adele's favorite things are her cats. She enjoys reading as much as Carrie and makes beautiful miniature figurines. She is in the middle of a gap year.
Brendan loves math and musical theater. He is also learning to play the accordion and taking dual credit classes online at LeTourneau University.
...and Nora... Well, Nora is an energetic happy girl who loves to draw and spend time with her friends. She also loves her pets!
